It’s some sage advice
found in the Medusa story,
but elsewhere for sure.
Never look into the eyes
of the godhead, unless invited.
Even then, beware.

What are blinders, Richard? I’ve not heard this word before. I hope you are well and content. I am fine; just up to my eyes in trying to catch up with blog reading 💙.
They attach blinders to a horses bridle to cover their eyes on the sides so they will not get startled. Then a second definition related to having cultural blinders, not quite able to see clearly because of the influence of cultural norms, etc
Ah, thanks, Richard. I have seen them on horses on TV, not that I watch much of that. I didn’t know that’s what they were called. I rarely see a horse these days, especially living in a city. I totally get the other definition and have encountered that in previous relationships with people. Thanks for explaining 💜.
A stoney stare, a difficult way to begin a concrete relationship.
