My kind of heaven

Perhaps we sould just lay in the mown grass, over to the right, and whisper about our dreams for the next two weeks. You know, a giant passed through heading north, just beyond that last apple tree, a few years ago.

  1. It’s been many years since I could lay in the grass. I’d need help getting down there and back up again because of my disability. Before then, I loved to lie on my back and make faces and images from the clouds. It would be lovelier still if I could lie in the long grass with the wildflowers growing beside me.

  2. Remembering…laying on the grass in the mountains at night, not moving until viewing a shooting star. It becomes a habit, my kids still do it.
