Out Back, to the Right

Our neighbors are distant–

but pure.

We mow their lawn,

with their machine,

and ours as well…

What else should neighbors do?

Forgive Me

This–

it’s not meant

to be offensive.

But, and this is a big butt!

I’d rather

write a poem

than read a poem,

period.

In good rock and roll

lyrical fashion, let

me say it again,

alleluia.

I’d rather write a poem,

anyday–

than read another,

instead.

Write on…

Write on…
