Clouds

Elusive Presenses

Often the tumbling

clouds overhead

capture my deepest

mythic sentiments –

the cloud beings

that peek out

now and again

help keep these

worldly worries

contained,

right sized –

like balm on a burn.

Cloud Canvases

The ocean brings

the entire sky

to our toes.

Sumitting

through a last crevasse

on Mt. Chocorua

and popping one’s head

into the great blue dome,

the birthing of a sky child.

Here, the doses titrated,

rolling clouds

framed by tree / field / barn.
