Let Me Lick Your Wonder

Sometimes being fresh

is needed.

Like when a toddler

has a dirty diaper

and they make it known

by smearing

their shit upon the wall—

So let’s again try to make each letter,

each word, each phrase,

matter.

If only to stir things up,

let me lick your wonder.

Forgive Me

This–

it’s not meant

to be offensive.

But, and this is a big butt!

I’d rather

write a poem

than read a poem,

period.

In good rock and roll

lyrical fashion, let

me say it again,

alleluia.

I’d rather write a poem,

anyday–

than read another,

instead.

Write on…
