The Night Does Funny Things Inside My Head

Digital Art by Richard Reeve

Once you get past

the moonscape quality,

why not dance in the portals

connecting unknown realms,

share your bizzaro dystonia,

as if tweaking and freaking,

heck twork if you need to,

it’s all normalized

with our children.

All I want to do is say is –

goodbye.

Erase that, once gone

you cannot come back,

unless you drink

the antifreeze.

Don’t drink the antifreeze.

(A poem out of recent delirium due to a shingles vaccination.)
