I live along an unnamed tributary.
From the small falls formed
after tunneling the road
it’s a few hundred yards
north-northwest
to reach Hankins Creek.
Another seven miles
south-southwest
to the Delaware, then,
a little over three hundred more
south to Cape May Point.
I want to call it
Lost Souls Run.
The neighbors aren’t impressed.

A new chapbook of poems: Lost Souls Run
The neighbours will just have to lump it!
👊🤣
Wishing you all the very best for 2023!

Thanks. You too.
That is what I call a Crick. Looks like a big watershed looking at the map. Lots of hills.
Those be the Catskills, we are on the western slopes, Delaware River watershed.
Very beautiful place… keep sharing it!
